About the Opportunity

WOLF is searching for a passionate and creative full-time Senior Full Stack Software Engineer based in Aurora, Ontario.

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a pivotal role in leading the WOLF-WARE Alpha Team (WWAT)—a small, agile team driving digital transformation and AI integration across WOLF’s product development ecosystem.

In this position, you will be at the forefront of software innovation, leading a team of developers to build and optimize advanced solutions.

Your work will be instrumental in transforming WOLF’s software ecosystem, dramatically scaling its capabilities by harnessing AI and automation to enhance efficiency, scalability, and overall impact.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Overseeing software design, development, and deployment aligned with business objectives
Managing development cycles, timelines, and deliverables to support digital transformation initiatives
Implementing and refining CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps best practices
Streamlining knowledge-sharing processes and ensuring code quality through reviews and technical documentation
Identifying opportunities for process improvements, innovation, and AI-driven efficiencies
Leading and mentoring a team of junior developers and interns to foster growth and innovation
Collaborating with the CTO to execute technical roadmaps and long-term development strategies
Acting as a liaison between the WWAT team and other departments to align technical execution with business needs

About You

To qualify, you will need 6+ years of experience in software development, ideally with a strong background in .NET (C#), Blazor, and Microsoft technologies. While a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, your demonstrated expertise in software architecture, full-stack development, and technical leadership will be essential.

Eligibility Requirements

WOLF is a military and aerospace manufacturer requiring strict adherence to CGP and ITAR requirements. As a condition of employment, applicants must be able to provide valid documentation to show Canadian or US citizenship or Canadian Permanent Residency and undergo a police check with no criminal background.

The following skills and background will be highly valued:

Experience leading software development teams, mentoring junior engineers, and fostering a culture of collaboration
Hands-on expertise with Telerik components, PowerBI integration, and AI tools like Microsoft Semantic Kernel
Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, and automated testing
Experience developing internal web applications and enterprise-level software solutions
Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like React or Angular as an alternative to Blazor
Familiarity with the AS9100D or ISO9001 Quality Management System, with experience in either environment (asset)
Relevant industry-specific experience with VPX (46.x, 65.x), XMC (42.x, 61.0, 88.0), or MXM
Experience with NVIDIA and/or AMD GPUs (asset)
Developing SME expertise in Xilinx FPGA, GPU software stacks, and functional safety standards (e.g., DO-254, DO-178, ISO-26262)
Generating technical documentation, including block diagrams and datasheets
Strong understanding of networking technologies, data fabric architecture, and PCI Express switching topologies
Expertise in Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN), GPUs, video sensor 1/0, and Al technologies
Familiarity with technologies such as PCI Express, ConnectX, Bluefield, and associated software layers like RoCE/RDMA, OFED_MNLX, DOCA, and DPDK
