Job Title: Senior Full Stack Java Web Developer
Location: Remote (Ontario-based candidates preferred)
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of front-end development experience using frameworks such as React.js
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java-based software development
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with DevOps practices, including Git repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
- Familiarity with Generative AI and/or Machine Learning tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor, AI Agents)
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cross-platform development
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration in a cloud environment
- Exposure to Scrum/Agile methodologies
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Development experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
