The Role
As a Senior Engagement Manager within Clarity Recruitment’s Executive Search division, you will drive business development and strengthen client partnerships by engaging with key stakeholders-including CFOs, CEOs, and COOs-at both new and existing client organizations. This role plays a pivotal part in expanding our client base and deepening relationships with current partners to support their strategic finance hiring needs.

What You’ll Do
- Proactively develop new business through networking, cold calling, social selling, and nurturing leads
- Develop and implement strategies to build meaningful relationships with CFOs, CEOs and COOs
- Lead client engagements across various industries, including conducting in-depth research and market analysis
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, guiding them through challenges and helping evolve their finance and human resources functions
- Provide insights on the talent market to support executive hiring decisions
- Place finance, accounting, and HR leaders in high-growth and scale-up companies
- Identify and pursue cross-sell opportunities to expand service offerings within client accounts
- Implement consistent business development practices to fuel the division’s growth
- Leverage negotiation skills to create win-win client scenarios
- Contribute to process development to support organizational scalability
- Champion a high-quality client experience and elevate the recruitment discipline
What You’ll Need
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in B2B sales or recruitment, ideally in the contingent or executive search space
- Proven experience working in a recruitment agency environment
- Strong knowledge of the finance and accounting talent landscape-CPA designation is an asset
- High business acumen and intellectual curiosity
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high degree of ambiguity
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with senior finance executives
- You consistently achieve or exceed targets
- Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, and applicant tracking systems (ATS) would be an asset
- Able to attend in-person training/staff meetings/events at our Oakville or Toronto (ON) office locations as needed or required
