Senior Digital Business Analyst (MarTech / AEM)



Exciting contract opportunity in the insurance industry for a Business Analyst skilled in digital transformation, Agile delivery, and MarTech platforms. This hybrid Toronto-based role offers the chance to work with tools like AEM Cloud, drive optimization initiatives, and shape scalable global solutions.



What is in it for you:




• Salaried: $58-66 per hour.


• Incorporated Business Rate: $70-78 per hour.


• 11-month contract.


• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.


• In-office presence required from Tuesday to Thursday.


• Remote work available on Mondays and Fridays.



Responsibilities:




• Translate business needs into Epics, Features, and User Stories with clear acceptance criteria using tools like Jira and Confluence.


• Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, and workshops to gather and prioritize business, user, and non-functional requirements.


• Document common capabilities, integrations, and reusable components to ensure global scalability and consistency across platforms.


• Map current and future state processes, customer journeys, and content governance models using Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro.


• Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, CX, Marketing) to align on delivery expectations throughout the SDLC.


• Support AEM Cloud configuration efforts (Sites, Assets, Workflows), including metadata models, tagging, and content workflows.


• Collaborate with Engineering on integration points, data contracts, and payload structures (JSON/XML); review via tools like Postman.


• Conduct product performance analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation; deliver insights via reports and executive-ready presentations.


• Support UAT planning, defect triage, and sprint ceremonies (e.g., backlog grooming, prioritization using frameworks like MoSCoW).


• Develop training and change management materials to support adoption of global digital solutions.



What you will need to succeed:




• Preferred experience with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, Assets, Workflows, and other Marketing Applications) in a cloud-native environment; however, experience with other content or experience management platforms is welcome.


• Proficiency creating process, user, and data flow visuals (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Miro).


• Comfortable using Postman for basic API testing and Figma for reviewing UX artifacts.


• Understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, accessibility, privacy/security, and content governance, and their impact on delivery.


• In-depth understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and technological systems.


• Good understanding of group functions including product offerings, service models, and organizational structure.


• Understanding of system design, analysis, and user testing.


• Comfort operating in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban); proficiency using Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.


• Ability to cultivate relationships and influence across diverse teams and organizational levels.
