Senior Databricks Developer – 4 Openings
Location: Remote
Employment Type: Contract ( Till June,2026) Can extend
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Azure components.
- Build new pipelines from scratch and enhance existing ones for scalability and performance.
- Apply strong ETL design principles, data modeling concepts, and governance standards.
- Collaborate within a Scrum team, taking ownership of stories and delivering production-ready code.
- Troubleshoot data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and optimize pipeline performance.
- Work in Azure environments leveraging ADLS, ADF, Synapse, and related tools.
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions while focusing on hands-on development.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 8-10+ years of experience in data engineering, preferably with Azure Databricks.
- Strong expertise in PySpark, SQL, Delta Lake, and familiarity with Unity Catalog.
- Knowledge of data governance and DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in Agile teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
