Overview

Shareholder Services is responsible for maintaining the records for investors of various Investment Companies that offer investments such as Mutual, Pooled, Hedge Funds, Link Notes, and Asset Allocations. Along with maintaining records, reporting is provided to unit-holders, in accordance with government policies, tax laws and national policies.

What is the opportunity?

This is a great opportunity in the Specialized Operations team where you will learn the Unitrax system in Shareholder Services. You will collaborate with Shareholder services teams, provide overall support to end users and clients for critical thinking to be supporting new and existing products, and resolve day to day issues.

What will you do?

  • Research the business requirements to support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Shareholder Services Systems
  • Ensure that all client investment data in record-keeping systems is established and maintained accurately across various product types, such as mutual funds, asset allocation strategies, linked notes, and segregated funds
  • Primary participant in the year end and tax support including the system set up from release meetings and vendor coordination for all client environments
  • Day-to-day research & resolution of problems affecting operations units
  • Effectively liaise with the system Vendors to provide timely and accurate
  • Monitoring and assignment from workflow system and Robotics support on rotating schedule.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Post Secondary Education
  • 5 years’ experience in Financial Services/ Mutual Fund Industry business knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of Unitrax is preferred, tables and schedule structures, query functions, daily jobs etc.
  • Analytical and critical thinking, problem solving and attention to details, testing issues to replicate and new changes.
  • Must possess excellent communications (written & oral) skills in a client operations and client-centric environment.
  • Knowledge of link notes and segregated /insurance funds.

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of ESG/FundSERV and e-business applications such as wealthlink
  • Completion of the Mutual Funds Operations Course recommended
  • Strong working knowledge of PC applications such as Word, Excel, Access

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00. The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting.
