Job Summary:
We are seeking a Business Data Analyst with strong expertise in Capital Markets and SQL to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial products, data analysis, and business processes within the capital markets domain. Experience in Treasury or related functions will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and data engineers to gather and analyze requirements.
- Perform detailed data analysis and validation using SQL and other data tools.
- Translate complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Support reporting, data modeling, and analytics initiatives for Capital Markets functions.
- Identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets to drive business insights.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams (Front Office, Risk, Treasury, Operations) to ensure data consistency and integrity.
- Participate in testing and implementation of system enhancements or data solutions.
- Prepare documentation, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and business users.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Business/Data Analyst in financial services.
- Strong understanding of Capital Markets - products such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, or FX.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis.
- Experience with Data Mapping etc.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
