If you are passionate about public accounting, thrive in a collaborative environment, and want to make a meaningful impact on clients and colleagues alike — we want to hear from you.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Prepare year-end working paper files for a variety of clients (compilations, reviews, and audits).</li><li>Lead assurance engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and final reporting.</li><li>Prepare corporate and personal tax returns, T4s, T5s, and other compliance filings.</li><li>Provide accounting, tax, and advisory services to clients in a diverse range of industries.</li><li>Mentor junior staff and provide guidance in professional development.</li><li>Liaise directly with clients and partners to manage timelines and deliverables.</li><li>Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.</li></ul><p>Qualifications:</p><ul><li>CPA designation (or close to completion).</li><li>2024 CFE certification (preferred).</li><li>2025 CFE certification (preferred).</li><li>Minimum 1–3 years of experience in public accounting.</li><li>Strong understanding of Canadian Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS) and Canadian tax principles.</li><li>Proficient in CaseWare, TaxPrep, and Microsoft Excel.</li><li>Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a deadline-driven environment.</li></ul><p>What We Offer:</p><ul><li>Competitive compensation and benefits package, including a health spending account after 3 months.</li><li>3 weeks vacation plus paid Fridays off in July and August.</li><li>Strong positive office culture,<br> flexible work schedule and work-life balance.</li><li>Annual team building activities.</li><li>Professional development opportunities and mentorship.</li><li>Exposure to a wide variety of clients and industries.</li><li>Opportunities to grow your career with a firm that values innovation and leadership.</li></ul><p>Apply Today:</p><p>Ready to take your career to the next level?
