Job Title: Security Professional - Gatehouse (Part Time)
Location: Mississauga, ON
Position Type: Part-time
Pay Rate: $18.75 per hour
Schedule: Saturday-Sunday | Day/Afternoon/Evening

                 08:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 3:00PM -11:00PM

 

 

We are currently seeking a dependable and professional Security Professional - Gatehouse (Part Time) to support operations at a large-scale commercial and industrial site in Mississauga, Ontario.

This position operates within a high-security, 24/7 environment and plays a critical role in maintaining the safety of personnel, protecting property, and Enforcing Access Control Procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for Gatehouse Operations monitoring activity across multiple fixed posts and ensuring all security policies and procedures are consistently followed.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Site Surveillance & Patrol:Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high-traffic areas, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of personnel and property
  • Visibility & Coverage: Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to any security breaches, disturbances, or suspicious activities
  • Access Control: Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
  • Communication: Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
  • Emergency Response: Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
  • Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Compliance with Safety Procedures: Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
  • General Security Duties: Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks.

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • 1-2 years of experience working in mobile security
  • Must have a valid Ontario Security License.
  • Must be at least 18 years old or above for insurance purposes
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada up to 40 hours a week.
  • First Aid and CPR
