Security Guard – Corporate Security (Contract) (No experience needed)

We are currently seeking 30 security guards for an entry level, 2–3-week temporary contract with our client — a global technology leader delivering innovative solutions in e-commerce, cloud computing, digital media, logistics, and consumer products and services. No security experience needed for this temporary role. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential for success in this role. This role is designed to prevent unauthorized entry through doors during the programming phase of mag locks. You will be responsible for monitoring points of entry.

Position Overview:

Location: Downtown Toronto

Start Date: June 30, 2025

Payrate: $19.63/hr

Shifts: Monday to Friday 0800-1600, 1600-2400, 0000-0800

              Saturday and Sunday 1200-2400, 0000-1200

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform access control provision duties, monitoring doors for unauthorized activity.
• Static security procedures, monitoring single door locations.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Assist client employees with inquiries

 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
• Stand for long periods.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Team player and outstanding customer service abilities
• Please note that there is no free parking onsite
• Site is transit-accessible
• Must be flexible to work all shift times
