The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li>Valid <strong>Alberta </strong>security guard license.</li><li>Display <strong>exceptional customer service and communication skills</strong></li><li>Have <strong>intermediate computer skills</strong> to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites</li><li>Experience with report writing and note-taking.</li><li>Valid Class 5 Driver's License and own vehicle as the site is not on the public transport route.</li><li>Must be eligible to work in Canada. </li><li>First Aid and CPR</li><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience</li><li>Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.</li></ul><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><p> </p><ul><li>Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.</li><li>Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.</li><li>Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.</li><li>Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.</li><li>Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.</li><li>Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.</li><li>Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.</li><li>Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.</li><li>Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits:</strong></p><ul><li>Opportunities for career growth and advancement.</li><li>Comprehensive health and dental benefits</li><li>Paid training and development programs.</li></ul><p><strong>Disclaimer:</strong></p><p>As part of our standard hiring process, all candidates being considered for employment with Allied Universal are required to undergo a background check.
