As a Sanitation Supervisor at Aspire Bakeries, you will lead a team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene. This hands-on leadership role oversees scheduling, training, and daily sanitation operations to ensure food safety compliance and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule manpower requirements on a daily basis
  • Ensure training and cross-training for all sanitation employees
  • Maintain Master Sanitation Schedule (SAP Sanitation Work Orders)
  • Supervise sanitation operations in accordance with plant policies and procedures (Safety, GMP’s etc.)
  • Provide technical input into the creation of technical documents (i.e. SWI’s, SSOP’s, Sanitation Work Orders)
  • Provide excellent leadership by example from the floor to your team, acting with honesty and integrity, ensuring that the cultural values of ASPIRE BAKERIES Canada are being promoted at all times
  • Ensure all employees are aware of their responsibilities specific to food safety, legality, and quality
  • Maintain the required hygiene, safety, and quality standards on the production floor


Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required
  • Minimum 2-3 years related experience, within the food manufacturing sector would be preferred
  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess post-secondary education in a food science, business or technical engineering discipline
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities and mechanical aptitude
  • The willingness to adapt to multiple priorities
  • Able to schedule employees in various multitasking activities
