Job Title: Salesforce Functional Designer
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Salesforce Functional Designer to support the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions that meet evolving business needs. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams by translating business requirements into scalable, user-centric Salesforce solutions. Experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional requirements related to Salesforce solutions.
- Translate business processes and requirements into detailed functional design documents.
- Design end-to-end Salesforce solutions with a focus on usability, scalability, and compliance.
- Define user stories, use cases, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with Salesforce developers, architects, and QA teams to ensure alignment with the functional design.
- Participate in solution design sessions, sprint planning, and testing phases.
- Ensure the solution meets both business goals and Salesforce best practices.
- Support change management, training, and go-live activities.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in Salesforce functional design or business analysis.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.).
- Proven experience translating business requirements into Salesforce configurations and features.
- Strong documentation skills – ability to create functional specs, process flows, and gap analysis.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Nice-to-Have:
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Business Analyst).
- Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry.
- Familiarity with regulatory or compliance-driven initiatives (e.g., KYC, AML).
- Understanding of Salesforce integrations with third-party systems.
