Reporting to the VP sales, the Sales Manager’s objective is to deploy strategies and develop the sales force team to increase the market shares of the ontario territory.

His remuneration will be based upon the total sales revenue of the branch, which has impressive targets. The manager shall also do quarterly plans with specific trades and customers and will audit its evolution. Because of his own strong track record in sales, he will naturally expect time maximisation, constant prospection and frequent follow ups.

He will assist in difficult deal presentations and closings. Through his reputation, his understanding of the market and his strategic skills he will transform the way his clients get the job done!
Main Responsibilities

  • Hire, train and coach a team of top performers;
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing and supporting the sales team;
  • Use his network and knowledge to develop the Ontario market and grow the Toronto branch location;
  • Develop strategies, tactics and goals to maximize team performance;
  • Meet with prospective clients and support the sales team in closing opportunities.

Experience & Desired Skills

  • Strong experience in a sales management role ;
  • Great experience in sales and market development;
  • Solid knowledge in the construction, industrial or agriculture industry (telehandlers, cranes or mini/medium loaders);
  • Proven track record in building and growing an impressive sales force;
  • Results focused;
  • Strong believer of CRM systems;
  • Outstanding communication, organizational and time management skills;
  • Strong motivation, hard worker and quick thinker.
