<p><strong>RQ09740 - Sr. Lead Project Manager</strong></p> <p><strong>33 King Street East, Oshawa, Ontario</strong></p> <p>On-site - Hybrid - Candidate MUST work 3 days onsite and 2 days remote -<strong> Starting October 20, resources are expected to come into the office 4 days per week. Starting January 5, resources are expected to come into the office 5 days per week. This is subject to change based on manager discretion or change in OPS policy.</strong></p> <p><strong>Security Level: CRJMC (Must get clearance before start date)</strong></p> <p><strong>Contract - 6+ months, possible extension<br></strong></p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><li>Provides project management on large scale, complex, high profile and high risk projects for OPS I&IT initiatives.</li><li>Ensures project deliverables meet clients business requirements on time, scope and budget, with a focus on cost-effectiveness, efficiencies and compliance with OPS project management methodologies and frameworks.</li><li>Develop templates, creating project plans, supporting the establishment of project governance, scorecards, data analysis, scheduling, governance artifacts, reports and financial reconciliation.<strong></strong></li></ul> <p><strong>Must-Have's:</strong></p> <ul><li>The Project Manager is required to provide project management standards, methodology, processes, techniques advice and guidance to project leaders and staff, including sponsors, managers, team members, and also advice and guidance on project governance and project health-checks.</li><li>Knowledge and skill with <strong>PowerBI </strong>reporting tool to build reports</li><li>Experience in building and implementing a vendor performance framework to track, monitor and report on vendor performance.</li><li>Knowledge and experience with legacy system data migrations and modernization</li></ul> <p><strong>Desirable Skills:</strong></p> <ul><li>Knowledge and understanding of Project Managements Institutes Project Management Body of knowledge Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies and practices</li><li>Knowledge and understanding of <strong>Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) </strong>and related regulations and standards</li><li>Ability to make recommendations on the acquisition of software, hardware, and technology resources</li><li>Experience managing and coordinating project monitoring, anticipates and troubleshoots issues, provides ongoing expertise, resolves problems and provides project effectiveness</li><li>Ability to identify conflict between project and functional areas and develops responses to successfully address conflict</li><li>Ability to handle client relationships to manage expectations, provides updates as required, identifies potential conflicts between project and functional areas</li></ul>
