Our Restoration Technician is a vital member of our team responsible for collecting and restoring items exposed to insurance claims. Working under the guidance of the CRDN Contents Manager, the technician is tasked with identifying, removing, cleaning, and safely returning content. Proficiency in English and basic computer skills are required, and training will be provided by the CRDN Contents Manager to ensure the technician can effectively process content. Collaboration with team members, physical stamina (able to lift 40 to 50 lbs), and a strong commitment to preventing property damage are essential qualities for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Onsite Expectations:
1. Dedication to working efficiently and preventing damage to homeowners' property.
2. Receive training on utilizing our inventory system.
3. Identify and document cleanable and damaged content.
4. Properly package and label content for removal and easy retrieval at the warehouse.
5. Assist in loading boxes onto trucks.
6. Execute content resets as needed.
Warehouse Expectations:
1. Unload trucks carrying items from insured homes.
2. Employ various cleaning techniques, including hand cleaning and specialized fireline processing (with specialized training).
3. Maintain records of damaged content.
4. Safely store cleaned items.
Qualifications:
1. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with insured individuals.
2. Basic computer skills to work with our inventory system.
3. Willingness to undergo training provided by the CRDN Contents Manager.
4. Ability to effectively use the skills acquired during training to process content.
5. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
6. Physical capability to lift and carry 40 to 50 lbs.
