Responsibilities:
1. Handling all aspects of accounting work:
• setting up and creating all account codes and G/L codes for all projects
• matching invoices to backups, inputting all invoices of all projects
• producing cost reports for monthly draw of all projects
• preparing year end working papers for all projects for the review by auditors
• preparing cheques for accounts payable
• reconciling all trades sub-ledger
• preparing monthly bank reconciliation for all projects
• recording all closing adjustments into the accounting system for all projects
2. Reconciling all purchaser deposits against purchase & sale agreements

Reconciling all purchaser deposits held in trust by lawyers against purchase & sale agreements
4. Communicating with purchaser in respect to NSF deposit cheque
5. Handling all banking matters, arranging mailing and courier service, overseeing office supplies
6.
Filing of all paid invoices
7. Creating file for each new sale for all projects
8. Handling weekly payroll for all projects:
• calculating payroll for each staff upon receipt of time sheet from the site and recording
into the system
• printing cheques(on presigned cheques) and courier cheques out to the respective site
• calculating Union’s payable for the month(according to Union requirements)
• calculating WSIB premium payable for the month
• calculating Source deductions payable for the month
• calculating vacation pay for all staff at end of the year
• completing T4s for all staff at end of the year and reporting T4 summary to the gov’t
9.
Reporting quarterly HST to the government online
10. Assisting Comptroller to transfer any overrun costs to Prepaid expenses in all projects
11. Attending sale opening events, preparing purchase and sale agreements for new deals
11.
Assisting Principals on any ad hoc matters
