As a Registered Massage Therapist in our clinic, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and patients. What you’ll be doing:

Conduct assessments of patients’ physical conditions, needs and preferences to customize massage sessions
Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial release, active release and cranialsacral therapy
Collaborate with physiotherapy, osteopathy, family physicians, nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly
Maintain accurate records and document treatment in patients chart according to HHC policies and the clinical documentation standards of the CMTO
Perform massage therapy on a variety of Homewood patients across all program areas and on Homewood clinical staff working onsite
Contribute to a positive and supportive clinic environment, promoting a culture of compassion, understanding and empathy for patients living with mental health challenges and chronic pain

What we’re looking for:

Applicants must be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
New graduates are welcome
Interest in the intersection between massage therapy and mental health
Empathy, compassion and a patient-centric approach to care, emphasizing the importance of the mind-body connection in the treatment of pain
Registered provider with Veteran’s Affairs and Green Shield and asset
Ability to direct bill for services through TELUS eCalims, Medavie Blue Cross and providerConnect
