What You’ll Be Doing:
Perform dental cleanings (scaling, polishing) to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
Assess oral health: gums, teeth, and soft tissues
Take and develop dental X-rays as needed
Identify and document signs of oral diseases (e.g., cavities, gum disease)
Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and home care
Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants
Assist in creating treatment plans and maintaining accurate patient records
Collaborate with dentists and the clinical team for seamless patient care
Follow strict infection control and safety standards
Stay informed on the latest in dental hygiene practices and preventive care
What You Bring:
Current Dental Hygiene license (Ontario)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong clinical skills and attention to detail
Experience with dental software and electronic health records (EHR)
Patient-first mindset with a gentle and compassionate approach
Ongoing commitment to professional development
