Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Curve Dental.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties when needed, including answering phones and greeting patients.
Support orthodontic procedures and provide assistance with pediatric patients as necessary.
Stay updated on medical terminology and best practices in dental assisting to enhance patient care.
Experience
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with familiarity in orthodontics being a plus.
Proficiency in using dental software systems like Curve Dental is highly desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry is essential.
Experience working with pediatric patients is an advantage.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
