About the Role We are seeking a driven and experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee a multi-state territory and into Canada.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in polymers, including prime, generic prime, and off-grade resins, compounding, and geomembrane technology. This role requires a proactive, “hunter” mentality with technical knowledge and market intelligence to drive sales and build strong customer relationships. Responsibilities Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share in multi-state territory.
Sell and promote a range of polymer products, including Polyethylene, Polypropylene, and Polystyrene (PP, PS, PE, PVC, PET), in various forms such as bulk, railcar, and packaged quantities. Utilize your knowledge of polymer resins to address customer needs, provide technical support, and offer solutions. Leverage your understanding of pricing and negotiation to secure profitable contracts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders. Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. Provide market intelligence and feedback to guide product and strategy development.
Qualifications Required Knowledge: Proven success in selling resins or polymers with a strong track record. Experience with bulk polymers, resins, and related products. Expertise in pricing, negotiation, and customer support within the polymer industry.
