Our Enterprise Management Public Sector Sales team supports growth by balancing integrity and innovation. We seek a leader with a proven track record managing and expanding the public sector landscape in Canada, especially in government and education accounts, who is a self-starter and thrives in a dynamic environment.



About The Role

As the Regional Sales Director for the public sector (SLED experience), you will lead, coach, and mentor a team of Senior Account Executives, focusing on positioning Workday’s solutions in Canada. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Driving new business for Workday
  2. Leading complex public sector deal engagement by coordinating internal teams
  3. Employing effective sales strategies to position Workday as a cloud partner alternative to legacy ERP solutions

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of field sales management experience
  • Extensive public sector experience, especially in SLED
  • Bi-lingual in English and French
  • Experience selling cloud/SaaS/ERP solutions
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and achieve revenue targets

Other Qualifications

  • Experience selling a System of Record
  • Strong understanding of competitive landscape and customer needs
  • Ability to coordinate across business units to maximize sales
  • Experience with forecasting and business modeling
  • Self-motivated and adaptable in dynamic environments

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for Montreal is CAD 191,300 – 233,800, with variations based on location, experience, and skills. Additional benefits include bonuses, stock grants, and comprehensive benefits.

Our Flex Work model combines in-person and remote work, allowing flexibility to balance business, team, and personal needs, with at least 50% of time spent in the office or in the field each quarter.
