Duties and Responsibilities: 

Sitting at the front desk, the First Impressions Specialist will navigate all calls and inquiries, supporting job seekers and employers. This role handles a high volume of phone calls and requires a patient individual who can navigate many of the same questions coming in over the phone lines.

This role will also provide full administrative assistance to all departments and maintain an exceptional experience for candidates and clients while exhibiting the core values of the organization.

The key job functions are:


  • Answer and direct incoming calls and assist with online inquiries
  • Receive and direct visitors and ensure that they are comfortable, relaxed and taken care of
  • Assist the team with administrative tasks as required
  • Take ownership of the front office area and ensure it is maintained and supplies are stocked
  • Other tasks as assigned.

  • Education:

  • Post-secondary education an asset but not mandatory
  • Qualifications: 

  • Tech savvy; able to work in Microsoft at an intermediate level

  • Experience:

  • – years of customer service experience required
  • + years of reception/administrative experience preferred

  • Skills:

  • Demonstrate a high profile, professional image at all times, along with a good record of attendance, punctuality, and reliability
  • Customer oriented and self-confident, with exceptional customer service
  • Detail oriented and meticulous
  • Able to take direction and instruction, interpret information correctly, and ask for guidance and assistance whenever necessary
  • Articulate and have excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong team player!

  • Base Salary: 

  • Competitive salary (salary dependent upon experience)

  • Work Hours:

  • Part time
  • Monday – Friday
  • :PM – :PM

  • Remote Work:

  • This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
