Crafted from natural materials, they guide customers through immersive sensorial experiences anchored by our signature sink — unique to each location.<br><br>Growing our culture-focused team means finding those who share the belief that we are a part in the greater ecosystem, working together to make a positive impact in our communities and for the Earth.<br><br>Are you a natural fit for the new world of Rocky?</p><p><b>The position</b></p><p>The <strong>Quality Manager</strong> is responsible for leading a robust and reliable Quality Assurance and Quality Control team by implementing clearly defined policies and procedures designed to ensure the highest quality for all products manufactured at Rock. <br><br><strong>This position works Monday through Friday from our workshop in Canmore, Alberta. </strong></p><p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Manage Quality continuous improvement initiatives, including product and manufacturing process improvements</li><li>Create and maintain accurate QA records for all formulas, physical testing, and specifications </li><li>Create and review technical documents to support product development projects</li><li>Approve, release, and communicate raw materials, bulk and finished goods </li><li>Request and retrieve technical information to assist in resolving quality issues as necessary</li><li>Plan and direct activities concerned with the application and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes</li><li>Ensure standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation are being followed accordingly</li><li>Ensure timely completion of investigation of Out-Of-Specification production and initiate root cause/corrective and preventative actions to ensure compliance with quality requirements</li><li>Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality of safety concerns</li><li>Monitor, interpret, and ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations globally (e.g. Health Canada, US FDA, EU)</li><li>Manage regulatory documentation, ingredient compliance reviews, and product registration dossiers</li><li>Review and approve product labels, packaging, and promotional materials to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements </li><li>Assess the safety, efficacy, and regulatory status of cosmetic ingredients to ensure compliance</li><li>Manage and oversee product recalls, if necessary, by coordinating with relevant departments and regulatory agencies</li><li>Represent the company during regulatory inspections and audits </li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Does this sound like you?</strong></p><ul><li>Accredited Educational background in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharma, Biology), or another quality related field</li><li>Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience working in Quality in the fields of Pharma, Cosmetics, or Natural Health Products</li><li>In depth knowledge and experience with Health Canada cosmetic regulations</li><li>Experience leading teams towards GMP best practices </li><li>Must be able to work in a highly scented environment</li></ul><p><b>What's in it for you?</b></p><ul><li>Significant product discounts and quarterly allowances</li><li>Subsidized group medical and dental benefits for you and your family</li><li>Share in Rocky’s success - <i>The Great Game</i> profit sharing program</li><li>Generous paid annual vacation and personal days </li><li>Healthy lifestyle support through an annual allowance</li><li>Access to a dedicated Rocky coach to help you optimize your potential</li><li>The opportunity to participate in <i>Culture Club</i> organized activities</li></ul><p><strong>Application</strong></p><ul><li><b>We are accepting applications for the Quality Manager position until a suitable candidate is found. </b></li><li>Eligibility: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. </li></ul><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>J1yqdwUrIA</p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
