About the Role
We are seeking a QA Analyst to join our Support team and contribute to the delivery of robust, high-performing fintech solutions for wealth and portfolio management clients. You’ll support the testing process for new and existing features to ensure our products meet the highest standards of accuracy and reliability. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fintech QA while working alongside experienced developers, analysts, and product owners.
The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular in-office presence alongside remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product, development, and QA team members to understand features and expected functionality.
- Assist in preparing and executing test cases to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Keep a clear and organized record of test case scenarios and update them as features evolve.
- Write documentation as needed for newly tested features, workflows, or known issues.
- Identify, document, and track bugs or issues through established workflows.
- Participate in functional, regression, and exploratory testing activities during development and release cycles.
- Troubleshoot system problems, diagnosing and solving software faults.
- Support data validation and basic troubleshooting efforts across system modules.
- Work with team members to continuously improve QA processes and testing efficiency.
Requirements & Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in software quality assurance, user acceptance testing, or related roles (internships and co-op placements welcome)
- Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Basic understanding of software development life cycle and QA concepts (e.g., test cases, bug tracking, regression testing).
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, organized approach to work.
- Familiarity with any other test management systems is an asset.
- Ability to write clear documentation and communicate issues effectively.
- Comfortable working with structured data and testing across multiple workflows or modules.
- Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
