<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Primoris Canada is a infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.</p><p><strong>SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The Quality Control Entry Level Inspector will be responsible for performing duties to support the quality department, including reporting, filing, record keeping, inspections and more.</p><p>Location: Edmonton Fabrication Shop</p><p><strong>JOB DUTIES</strong></p><ul><li>Assist QA/QC team in maintaining job files</li><li>Compile reports from internal quality management system</li><li>Ensure inspection documentation is completed within designated timeline</li><li>Facilitate the timely compilation of turnover packages to meet Client-specified schedule</li><li>Input quality data into database</li><li>Monitor statistical data and assist the QC Inspectors in maintaining project NDE percentage and test requirements.</li><li>Assist in the generation of NDE Requests and coordinate with NDE service provider in arranging NDE Services</li><li>Assist in the maintenance of Welder qualification database and test/retest schedules.</li><li>Compile and archive documentation</li><li>File manual and electronic material as required</li><li>Perform and report visual inspections as outlined in the WD & prepare clear and accurate reports.</li><li>Assist other Inspectors during their duties.</li><li>Perform and report dimensional control inspections and reporting as required in the WD</li><li>Perform and record material verification as required.</li><li>Learn quality obligation, standards, procedures, specifications and tolerances for all work in process.</li><li>Perform and report on all incoming inspection of materials received as required by the Quality Assurance System and WDITP.</li><li>Participate in the investigation of non-conformances and corrective action resolution as required.</li><li>Upon completion of inspections, advise production personnel of results.</li><li>Build effective relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and user groups that reflect and support core company values.</li><li>Actively participate in company safety procedures and programs, correct unsafe work practices and situations, follow reporting protocols for any violations, and participate in the Hazard identification process</li><li>Various other duties as requested by management</li></ul><p><strong>QALIFICATIONS</strong></p><ul><li>CWB welding inspector qualifications – CSA W178.2 Level 1 is an asset but not required</li><li>Understanding of all N.D.E processes used in the industry</li><li>Understanding of pressure piping code, and regulatory requirements</li><li>Diploma in Welding Engineering Technology or Materials Engineering Technology is an asset.</li></ul><p><strong>SKILLS</strong></p><ul><li>Strong interpersonal and presentation skills</li><li>Able to interact with all levels of management</li><li>Detail-orientated</li><li>Advanced computer skills with proficiency in use of MS Office products</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to represent the company in a professional and courteous manner</li><li>Organized and self-motivated</li></ul></p></p>Create Your Resume First
