We are looking for an honest hardworking individual who enjoys domestic work. We need someone reliable and diligent. Requirements are cleaning house/bathrooms/kitchen and getting elderly parents who are 80 years thru morning routines. Preference goes to Hindi speaking pure Punjabi individual who can cook VEGETARIAN and easily commute to keele and Bloor. Please do not reply if you live in Brampton or Scarborough as our experience has been challenges with commuters/ttc. We live in Toronto between keele and Dundas west, not far from Bloor GO Station. We have had other caregivers and the problem we have had is that they sometimes arrive late, leave early for other commitments or sit too long with my mother when she’s colouring. I need a person who arrives at 8:20am, takes instructions, begins work at 8:30am and is busy right until 12:30. *Not on your phone at all talking to anyone especially when left alone in kitchen. We have cameras in our home so you will be accountable, hence the reason why we require an honest hard working person. Do you have references? Please share 2 people, their relationship to you who can vouch for you. As this is our home, we really require trust and complete attention to the tasks assigned. 7. We have an extended family situation and need someone who understands that the 4hours in the morning are RESPITE so that we can carry on with our routines and trust that our parents and home are in good hands. $360 paid weekly in cash for 20 hrs of work. $18/hr. This can increase to $20 after a 4-6month probation period to ensure you are compatible with our family and do not require any instructions when left alone. You need to be confident, self motivated to clean when hour a lot of instructions, good in the kitchen and trustworthy. It really helps to set clear routines and firm but gentle rapport with my parents.
This work does NOT require any heavy lifting or medical interventions. It’s best suited for someone who enjoys older people and domestic duties. As it is a private home environment, you will be asked to maintain spaces so it’s helpful if you are ocd about cleaning. We really appreciate a clean house and need someone who enjoys being in one, and helping us to maintain it.
