Monday to Friday office hours, no weekends, no holidays.About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated PSW to provide personalized support to an individual within an office environment.

This position involves assisting with daily needs, ensuring a supportive workplace experience.Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support to the individual in a respectful, dignified, and professional manner.- Assist with mobility, personal care, and light physical tasks as needed.- Monitor and address the individual’s comfort, safety, and well-being.- Collaborate with the individual to ensure their specific needs are met.- Once a week grocery shopping and ensuring safe return to home.Ideal Candidate:- Must be able to obtain a Reliability Status government clearance.- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Personal Support Worker (PSW).- Must provide a completed Personnel Support Worker Certification Program.- Experience working in one-to-one setting.- Compassionate, patient, and attentive to detail.- Excellent English language skills.- Comfortable in an office environment and willing to support in a professional setting.- Up-to-date immunizations (Covid, Hep B, TB, MMR, tetanus/diphtheria, varicella).- Valid CPR – Level C.Why Join Us?- Stable daytime hours from 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, no weekends, no holidays.- An opportunity to make a positive impact on someone’s daily life.- Competitive pay of $20 per hour.- Convenient Ottawa location with public transit access.If you’re ready to bring your skills and experience to a role that values care and professionalism, we would love to hear from you.How to Apply:Please send your resume and a brief cover letter to Anne Côté at jobsottawaalternacare.ca.
