Project Manager (Non IT)

Job Description

<p><b>We are seeking a Non-IT Project Manager for a 4-month contract opportunity in Edmonton, Alberta. This is an onsite role.</b></p><p><br></p><p><b>Work Experience:</b></p><ul><li>5 years - Direct experience in a non-IT project management role</li><li>3 years - Experience defining project scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.</li><li>3 years - Experience developing project deliverables including project charters, business cases, briefing notes, status reports, risk logs and project closures.</li><li>5 years - Experience exercising resourcefulness when making recommendations on highly technical or complex business issues without formal guidelines or precedents.</li><li>3 years - Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b> Nice to Have:</b></p><ul><li>3 years - Experience creating and managing project forecasts in Microsoft Project.</li><li>5 years - Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.</li><li>5 years - Experience using MS Project tools in a project server environment.</li><li>3 years - Experience working in or for the public sector.</li></ul>
