<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Project Manager<br />Marine, Boatyard<br />Courtenay BC, Vancouver Island<br />Permanent, Full-time<br /></strong><strong>$100-$115K + Competitive Benefits</strong></p><p><strong>Our Client</strong><br />We are working with our client, specialized in Marine and Commercial boatyard repair to assist in adding a Project Manager to their growing team. We are seeking experience in:</p><ul><li>Managing the refit, repair and construction of commercial and recreational vessels while ensuring the desired work is completed on time and on budget</li><li>Working directly with clients to determine the scope of project and prepare estimates based on the agreed upon scope</li><li>Working with the management team to produce bids based on project specifications</li><li>Develop and manage project schedules, updating as the project scope evolves</li><li>Reporting on found deficiencies and submitting updated cost quotes to clients</li><li>Ensure all project and contract requirements are fulfilled in the required sequence with the required deliverables</li><li>Communicating project purchasing needs to purchasing department</li><li>Leading the project team and hosting project meetings with crew, management and clients on a regular basis</li><li>Leading the project team in resolving project related challenges and non-conformities</li><li>Performing the final review of projects including vessel checks focusing on quality assurance deliverables</li><li>Performing project administration duties such as document control, project tracking & invoicing</li><li>Ensuring all project activities are carried out in line with safety, quality & environmental standards</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Strong knowledge of steel & aluminum repair and fabrication</li><li>Strong knowledge of marine mechanical applications</li><li>Knowledge of fiberglass & composite repair and fabrication</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Excellent technical writing skills</li><li>High level of competence with Microsoft Office Applications</li><li>PMP would be an asset</li></ul><p></p><p>If this role matches your experience and you are ready to get involved, we&#39;d like to hear from you.
