With a strong track record of success and a reputation for quality and reliability, the company is seeking a Project Director to provide strategic leadership on high-value projects while mentoring the next generation of project management talent.<br></p><h2>The Opportunity:<br></h2>
<br><p>The Project Director will be a senior leader responsible for overseeing the execution and financial performance of multiple large-scale civil projects. Reporting directly to the Vice President, Operations, this role requires a proven leader who can balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement, while driving excellence in cost control, scheduling, risk management, and team development.<br></p><h2>Key Responsibilities:<br></h2><p>· Provide executive-level leadership and direction across multiple civil infrastructure projects<br></p><p>· Mentor and develop project managers, coordinators, and site teams to build strong future leaders<br></p><p>· Oversee project planning, execution, and close-out to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery<br></p><p>· Lead client engagement, contract negotiations, and stakeholder management at the highest level<br></p><p>· Drive strong cost control measures and financial forecasting to maximize project profitability<br></p><p>· Implement proactive risk management strategies to mitigate delays, disputes, or cost overruns<br></p><p>· Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across all projects<br></p><p>· Provide strategic reporting and project updates to senior company leadership<br></p><h2>Qualifications:<br></h2><p>· years of progressive experience in civil construction, including roads, bridges, underground utilities, and municipal infrastructure<br></p><p>· Proven track record leading large-scale projects ($50M+) or portfolios of multiple mid-sized projects<br></p><p>· Strong background in cost control, budgeting, and risk management at a senior leadership level<br></p><p>· Post-secondary degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field<br></p><p>· P.Eng., PMP, or similar professional designation considered an asset<br></p><p>· Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills with a focus on mentorship and team building<br></p><p>· Demonstrated ability to foster strong client, stakeholder, and municipal relationships<br></p><h2>What's in it for you:<br></h2><p>· Base salary $180,000–$250,000 plus annual performance bonus<br></p><p>· Comprehensive health, dental, and retirement benefits<br></p><p>· Company vehicle or allowance<br></p><p>· Executive-level role with significant influence on company growth and direction<br></p><p>· Opportunity to mentor, develop, and lead high-performing project teams<br></p><p>· Long-term stability with a leading civil contractor<br></p><h2>Apply Now:<br></h2>
