Position Overview:


The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the execution of restoration projects by organizing, directing, and managing various project activities under the supervision of a Project Manager (PM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and project appraisers
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines
  • Coordinate and assign subcontractors within established budget parameters
  • Manage materials selection and ensure timely, accurate ordering
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Obtain necessary approvals for all subcontracted work and any change orders
  • Identify, track, and resolve project deficiencies
  • Conduct site walk-throughs and secure final client sign-off
  • Ensure project milestones and completion dates are met
  • Provide regular updates to and support project managers
  • Submit weekly job status reports, highlighting progress, issues, and solutions
  • Oversee the protection and handling of client belongings during restoration
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends, including participation in an on-call rotation as required

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction or restoration industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • IICRC certifications (WRT, FSRT) considered an asset
  • Solid understanding of residential and commercial construction methods and applicable building codes
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • A proactive approach and commitment to seeing projects through to completion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally as needed
  • Possession of a valid G or G2 driver’s license
