<p><h3>Overview</h3><p>We are hiring part-time Program Leaders at the BGC Yorkton (formally known as the Boys & Girls Club of Yorkton). A Program Leader builds positive relationships and connections with children, youth & families in the community. They encourage and engage youth in productive activities. A Program Leader will treat children and youth with respect and acceptance. The position serves children and youth ages 12 through 18. Part-time through the end of June 2026 with options to renew based on performance.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Plan and implement quality opportunities for children and youth in the community.</li><li>Manage safety protocols and procedures.</li><li>Provide creative and engaging programming; lead quality activities.</li><li>Track participant information and attendance; provide feedback.</li><li>Foster the development of children and youth; act as a positive, responsible role model.</li><li>Interact with children and youth, parents/guardians, co-workers, community partners, and volunteers. Engage with partner organizations, other agencies, media, and the community at large.</li><li>Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills; be an active team member.</li></ul><h3>Shifts</h3><p>For the 2025-2026 School Year, shifts will fall within after school and 8:15 pm on weekdays.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Experience working with children and youth is an asset.</li><li>Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work well in a team setting.</li><li>Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.</li><li>Must provide and maintain a clear Police Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.</li></ul><h3>Education</h3><p>Completed at least some secondary school</p><h3>Apply By</h3><p>26-Sep-2025</p><h3>How to Apply</h3><p>Please submit a Resume to Amanda Ring by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 26, 2025.</p></p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
