Leadership Saskatoon
“Educating Leaders, Strengthening Community.” Leadership Saskatoon is one of Canada’s longest-running community leadership programs, and we are looking for our next Program Director to lead our organization’s programming and help our organization grow and evolve. As the Program Director, you are responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and growth for all Leadership Saskatoon programming, including the flagship 10-month program as well as a series of lectures and workshops.
Responsibilities
Drawing upon your understanding of adult education, curriculum design and evaluation, facilitation, and group dynamics, you will coordinate and lead a cohort of 25-30 adult participants through their 10-mo learning journey. Your ability to build relationships and communicate effectively will enable you to successfully collaborate with a team of facilitators, coaches, mentors, and other volunteers to develop, arrange, and ensure impactful implementation of Leadership Saskatoon programming.
Your solid organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing tasks and timelines will enable you to plan, promote, and execute multiple learning events throughout the Sept-June program year which explore both established and trending leadership practices.
Qualifications
The position is home-based, part-time (.6 FTE or 24 hrs/wk from August-June, with some flexibility to negotiate hours/weeks/months of work), and occasionally requires evening or weekend work. The position works with and reports directly to the Executive Director. Previous facilitation experience with, or being alumni of, Leadership Saskatoon would be considered an asset although is not required.
