Job Title: Production Technician /Installation Technician
Location: Oakville, ON

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday

• Day shift: 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

• Flexibility to work weekends when required

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and start machines using scientific and standardized practices

• Inspect dies for proper setup and verify materials before machine start-up

• Perform troubleshooting and identify root causes of production issues

• Follow standardized work instructions to ensure consistent quality output

• Conduct visual inspections of assemblies and sub-assemblies at each production stage

• Perform frequent die changeovers according to product specifications

• Carry out minor machine maintenance (oiling machines, dies, and workpieces)

• Load machinery, position workpieces, set up jobs, adjust, and operate machines

• Load and unload materials, stock work areas, and pack finished products

• Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

• Focus on improving quality, cycle time, machine performance, and scrap reduction

• Reduce downtime through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance

• Arrange and assemble parts related to conveyor belt systems for various clients

• Use a calculator and measuring tape accurately

• Participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives

• Implement and maintain 5S standards to ensure cleanliness and organization

• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure production environment
