Production Supervisor<BR><BR> 3-shift rotation - PERMANENT up to $75K + benefits + bonus<BR><BR>LOCATION: Mississauga, Ontario<BR><BR>Qualifications:<BR><BR> Post secondary technical education asset ; will consider experience equivalent<BR> 5 yrs+ supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment<BR> Familiarity with Food Safety industry standards<BR> Experience with Flexo printing process an asset<BR> Knowledge of Kaizen and Lean Six Sigma principles an asset<BR> Strong time and change management skills with a reputation for punctuality and reliability<BR> Collaborative attitude with ability to interact effectively with management and colleagues<BR> Leadership skills and ability to see the bigger picture and react quickly to changing priorities<BR> Knowledge in Health & Safety Standards<BR> Excellent verbal and written communication skills<BR> Computer literate<BR><BR>Duties:<BR><BR> Oversee and ensure the efficient production of products while meeting company standards of quality, safety and operational policies<BR> Maintain adherence to GMP / AIB, Health and Safety Standards, and company regulations<BR> Monitor and optimize manufacturing processes to maximize operational efficiency<BR> Conduct shift meetings to review departmental performance against production, health and safety, AIB, and scheduling criteria<BR> Ensure timely preparation and staging of work orders and materials for upcoming 24 hours<BR> Maintain adherence to manufacturing schedules, promptly addressing any deviations<BR> Conduct Root Cause Analysis with corrective actions and follow through on implementing the actions required<BR> Monitor employee attendance and performance, conducting semi-annual reviews and monthly team meetings<BR> Enforce discipline and compliance with company policies<BR> Monitor and uphold the integrity of production data<BR> Assign production personnel to operate equipment based on production needs<BR> Coordinate press approvals / trials with key personnel<BR> Ensure completion of all necessary production documentation<BR> Demonstrate and uphold company core values<BR> Supervise manufacturing personnel to uphold safety, quality, and productivity standards<BR> Identify and propose enhancements to facilities, equipment, and procedures for improved safety, quality, and efficiency<BR> Perform other duties as assignedBrowse Jobs in Canada by City
