We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Planner/Scheduler to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a Production Plan based on sales requirements while optimizing processing machines capacities, materials, and manpower availability, ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of high-quality products.

As a key link between Manufacturing operations, Sales Support Team, Inbound Supply Chain, Outbound Logistics, and other departments, the Production Planner plays a crucial role in maintaining a 100% service level.

Reports to: Plant Manager

Works Closely with: Production Manager, Cut and Pack Supervisors, Warehouse Manager, Procurement Manager


Experience/Skills:
Protein processing experience in a supervisory or managerial role in production or planning
Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and flexibility in changing work schedules
High degree of self-organizational skills
Ability to multitask in an intensive FMCG environment
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Solid ERP experience related to demand, supply, and production planning and scheduling
Ability to establish short and long-term goals to meet customer needs

Excellent multitasking skills

Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Production Manager and Sales to establish reasonable fresh and frozen inventory level forecasts to meet customer demands.
Establish a daily production plan, considering customer demands, and availability of live product and WIP within the system.
Analyze production specifications and plant capacity data, performing mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, raw materials, tools, and labor requirements.
Publish daily production plans to the floor and communicate changes with the Production team.
Publish daily short/long lists to the sales team.
Coordinate special production requests between R&D, Sales, and Production.
Monitor inventory to customer contract commitments and work with Sales to sell off obsolete private label stock prior to contract termination.
Assist the procurement manager in maintaining and ordering inventory.
Generate purchase orders or sales orders when required.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
