We are seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead the roadmap, optimization, and continuous evolution of our clients direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce platform. The Job!
- Own and evolve the digital product roadmap within a Shopify Plus environment.
- Define, document, and prioritize product features based on customer insights, stakeholder needs, and business goals.
- Lead discovery and solutioning sessions to support new feature development and optimization initiatives.
- Translate complex customer needs and technical requirements into actionable user stories and clear acceptance criteria.
- Leverage both qualitative and quantitative data to guide product decisions.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of digital product development from discovery to deployment.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, customer experience, and operations to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Work alongside a Technical Program Manager to execute product delivery efficiently across sprints and initiatives.
- Lead efforts to support a successful migration from a legacy e-commerce platform to Shopify Plus, ensuring data, features, and customer experiences are preserved.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and external partners to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Lead structured conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives using testing, data analysis, and user behavior research.
- Monitor and interpret KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value, lifetime value, bounce rate, and session depth to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Shopify Plus features, limitations, and complementary third-party apps.
- Use analytics platforms such as GA4, FullStory, Hotjar, Mouseflow, Looker Studio, and Shopify reports to identify trends, friction points, and growth opportunities.
- Translate insights into actionable product enhancements to improve customer experience and business performance.
- Support product solutions that involve subscriptions, ERP, and PIM integrations.
- Stay current on e-commerce best practices, personalization trends, and platform innovations to proactively identify new opportunities.
What you bring to the job
- 3-5 years of experience in digital product management, ideally within an e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environment.
- Strong understanding of Shopify Plus and the broader Shopify ecosystem.
- Proven track record of supporting or leading website rebuilds, migrations, or re-platforming projects.
- Experience with CRO methodologies, A/B testing, and tools like GA4, FullStory, Hotjar, and Mouseflow.
- Familiarity with subscription-based models, DTC technology stacks, ERP/PIM systems, and product lifecycle management.
- Comfort collaborating with design and development teams, with a good understanding of front-end technologies.
- Strong communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Analytical and data-driven, with a working knowledge of Jira, Asana, Figma, and Google Analytics.
- Experience working with datasets in BigQuery is an asset.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and applications is a bonus.
