What You’ll Do at OnePlan

As a Product focused Business Analyst, you're helping connect the dots between business needs, product direction, and what ultimately gets built. Your work shapes how teams operate and how our customers experience the platform.

This role sits within the product organization and focuses on defining requirements for a customer facing B2B SaaS platform. It is not an internal business systems, ERP, or process transformation role.

In addition, as a Business Analyst, you will:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their goals, uncover the real business needs, and bring clarity to complex problems
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions, document business processes, and turn conversations into clear, actionable requirements
  • Analyze current workflows to identify gaps, improvements, and opportunities for optimization
  • Translate business needs into well defined functional specifications that guide our development team
  • Support feature planning by contributing insights that help shape and prioritize the product roadmap
  • Partner with product managers to evaluate enhancements, align on priorities, and refine feature strategies
  • Act as the communication bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring everyone stays aligned from idea through delivery
  • Support the full lifecycle of product development by clarifying requirements, answering questions, and keeping projects on track.

Our Ideal Fit
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within Project and Program Management, enterprise solutions, or similar complex environments
  • A strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, process mapping, and documentation techniques
  • Confident turning business needs into clear, concise, and usable requirements for technical teams
  • Comfortable evaluating processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing practical improvements
  • Experience contributing to product roadmaps, prioritizing features, and supporting decision making
  • Skilled at leading discussions, facilitating workshops, and navigating conversations with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proficient with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar BA and project tools
  • A background in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.

  • We’re a remote-first company with team members across the USA, Canada, UK, and India!
  • OnePlan has been recognized as the Global Microsoft Partner of the Year in Project and Portfolio Management in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
  • We’ve been named a "Strong Performer" in the latest Forrester Strategic Portfolio Management WAVE report.
