Biospan Private Chef (Vancouver, BC)About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Private Chef to provide bespoke evening dinner services for a client and his spouse in Vancouver. The role requires skill in preparing clean, nutritious meals aligned with a practitioner-guided nutrition program, with the option to provide an additional meal for household staff.


Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve dinners Monday-Thursday evenings for 2 adults, with an optional meal for the housekeeper.

  • Plan menus around client's fitness and nutrition goals: lean muscle gain and fat loss.

  • Provide grocery lists in advance for the driver to shop; coordinate directly as needed.

  • Cook, plate, and clean the kitchen after service.

  • Adapt meals to client's nutrition phases (lower- and higher-carb).

  • Create meals using clean, organic, high-quality ingredients (no seed oils, no added sugars).

  • Incorporate favorite foods (fish, bison, beef tenderloin, chicken, turkey, vegetables).

  • Exclude restricted foods (pork; gluten/dairy due to intolerance; shrimp, lobster, crab due to allergy).

  • Maintain portion sizes around 300-400 kcal per dinner, ~30g protein, with macros adjusted accordingly.


Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Private Chef, ideally in high-end, health-focused households.

  • Strong knowledge of macro-based meal planning and clean cuisine.

  • Understanding of food allergies and intolerances.

  • Ability to work discreetly and professionally within a private household.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.


Schedule & Location
  • Location: Client's home in Vancouver, BC.

  • Schedule: Monday-Thursday evenings, starting late afternoon until after dinner service.

  • Occasional travel placements may be arranged if client travels.


Compensation & Benefits
  • Cook day rate: CA$250 (exclusive of groceries and supplies).


Target Start Date
  • September 15, 2025 (ideally ASAP)

Experience:

  • 3 years minimum chef experience
