This is your opportunity to take ownership of a department that prides itself on precision, quality, and teamwork — and to make a real impact on both our people and our performance.

You’ll guide a skilled team of press operators and technicians, ensuring production goals are met efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for process improvement, mentoring others, and driving operational excellence, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive results: Set production metrics and standards that align with business goals — and ensure we hit them consistently.
  • Optimize operations: Continuously assess systems, workflows, and processes to boost efficiency, quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Champion safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, ensuring all team members adhere to safety standards.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with Quality, Customer Service, Sales, Scheduling, Procurement, and Product Development to meet customer needs and deadlines.
  • Manage performance: Handle day-to-day problem solving, goal setting, and performance management with fairness and accountability.
  • Monitor costs: Proactively manage departmental metrics and inventory to support profitability and efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of management experience in printing or press operations.
  • Proven leadership ability with a hands-on approach and a passion for developing people.
  • Strong understanding of press processes, production workflows, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook); Visio experience is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills — verbal, written, and presentation — with the ability to connect effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities and projects at once.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, quality, and continuous improvement.
