Job Summary<br>D&M Pharmacy and Travel Clinic is an independent, patient-focused retail pharmacy providing comprehensive prescription services and specialized travel health support. We are looking for a motivated Pharmacy Assistant or Pharmacy Technician to join our growing SE Calgary team.<br><br>
Responsibilities:<ul><li>Greet and assist patients in person and by phone; respond to inquiries and direct questions to the pharmacist as needed.</li><li>Process prescriptions accurately using Kroll pharmacy software (asset).</li><li>Prepare, package and dispense medications according to prescriptions.</li><li>Maintain pharmacy inventory: stock checks, placing orders, removing expired products.</li><li>Handle third-party billing issues and resolve insurance rejections.</li><li>Complete administrative tasks such as record-keeping, data entry, and workflow support.</li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with pharmacy standards and procedures.</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>Pharmacy Assistant/Technician certification from a recognized program.</li><li>Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience (retail preferred).</li><li>Strong communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Experience with Kroll is an asset.</li><li>Ability to work in a Medium-paced community pharmacy environment.</li></ul>
