Our family is seeking an individual who would be available to provide 1:1 support to a young adult with a disability .
We believe every person deserves the opportunity to be in fully included in their community, and to engage in activities that are enjoyable to the individual that receives support and we are interested in applicants who share this view.
Ideally, the applicant will have a passion for supporting differently abled young adults, and is someone who is physically fit, is responsible, energetic, outgoing and committed.
It is, of course, helpful if you have had some experience working with people who have disabilities. Since the job description involves taking the young adult into the community, the applicant shall be in possession of a valid drivers license.
Currently hiring for Fulltime during days.
Part time is also available.

AMAK Helpers exists in two locations within Springwater Township (borders the north end of Barrie, ON). One being in Snow Valley (Seadon Rd/Byers St) and the other in Midhurst (Horseshoe Valley Rd/Gill St).
The Snow Valley location has two young adults, who are currently getting support from two support workers. The Midhurst location has one young adult getting support services from one support worker.
