The PSW will support the clients’ physical, social and emotional needs in a safe manner, in accordance with the organization’s resident-centred approach, complying with relevant government standards, residents’ rights and the organizations mission and philosophy.QualificationsGraduate of an approved Personal Support Worker course in Ontario, or equivalentExperience in long term care setting an assetCurrent CPR CertificateExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to take initiative, problem solve and time manageAbility to work independently as well as be an active, positive team playerComputer literacyShift work, including days, evenings, nights and weekendsAbility to speak and converse in Chinese an assetAdditional InformationWorking Conditions:Considerable standing, walking, lifting and bendingExposure to all resident care elements through regular resident contact.Interested applicants may apply by December 22, 2023 quoting reference number REF150OOur people are our greatest strength and the core of our success.
