The goal is to support clients in maintaining their independence and comfort within their own homes.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:<br /></strong><br><br><strong>Personal Care Support<br /></strong><br><br><ul><li>Assist clients with daily living activities, including dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, skincare, nail care, foot care, back care.<br><br></li><li>Support safe mobility and ambulation; assist with range of motion exercises and the use of mobility aids (e.g., wheelchair, walker)<br><br></li><li>Plan and prepare meals; assist with feeding as required<br><br></li></ul><strong>Companionship & Homemaking<br /></strong><br><br><ul><li>Provide meaningful companionship and emotional support<br><br></li><li>Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, dishwashing, laundry, and changing bed linens<br><br></li></ul><strong>Medication Support<br /></strong><br><br><ul><li>Assist clients with self-administered medications, as per the care plan<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications:<br /></strong><br><br><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent<br><br></li><li>Successful completion of the DEARS (Drugs and Ethics) test<br><br></li><li>Proficient in English (oral and written) and fluent in at least one of the following languages: Ukrainian, Polish, or Russian<br><br></li><li>Valid drivers license and access to a reliable, insured vehicle or alternative transportation<br><br></li></ul><strong>Note:</strong><br /> This job description outlines the general nature and responsibilities of the position.
