<p><h3>Overview</h3><p><b>ELEMENTARY PERMANENT OPEN POSITION (POP)</b></p><p>Instrumental Music Teacher (0.5 FTE) - St. Charles Garnier (0.2 - Wednesday), Sts. Cosmas and Damian (0.1 - Thursday AM), and Santa Maria (0.2 - Friday) Catholic Schools</p><p>Learn more about the schools at the following pages: https://www.tcdsb.org/o/stcharlesgarnier; https://www.tcdsb.org/o/stscosmasanddamian; https://www.tcdsb.org/o/santamaria</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><p>Provide instrumental music instruction as a part-time Instrumental Music Teacher at three TCDSB Catholic schools: St. Charles Garnier (0.2 FTE on Wednesdays), Sts. Cosmas and Damian (0.1 FTE on Thursdays AM), and Santa Maria (0.2 FTE on Fridays).</p><p>Support student learning in music, collaborate with school staff, and contribute to school-family partnerships consistent with TCDSB goals.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Pastoral Reference Letter from a Roman Catholic Parish, or completion of the Priest Reference Form indicating you are a practicing Roman Catholic (dated within the past 12 months).</li><li>Must be certified, and in good standing, with the Ontario College of Teachers. We welcome teacher candidates to apply with a Transitional Certificate.</li><li>Practicum reports for teacher evaluations and/or for experienced teachers, teacher performance appraisal(s).</li><li>Resume and Cover Letter addressed to the Sr. Manager of Recruitment, Human Resources.</li><li>Two Associate/Host Teacher references, or an alternate reference source (such as a Principal).</li></ul><h3>Who We Are</h3><p>Our mission at TCDSB is to inspire learning – in every way – and support our students and employees.
