Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Concord, ON, for a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for processing and administering payroll accurately and on time, managing employee payroll records, handling garnishments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant payroll tax regulations. Other duties include maintaining payroll systems, assisting with audits, resolving payroll discrepancies, and providing exceptional service to employees regarding their payroll inquiries.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Payroll Administration, including maintaining accurate employee payroll records
  • Experience with Payroll Taxes, Payroll Processing, and ensuring timely and compliant payments
  • Knowledge of Garnishments and Payroll Services, with the ability to manage employee inquiries
  • Strong skills in attention to detail, organization, and time management
  • Experience with payroll software and systems; familiarity with relevant regulations is an asset
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in accounting, human resources, or a related field

Salary: Based on experience $55,000 to $65,000 annually
