<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Payroll and Benefits Administrator</strong><br><br> Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll and Benefits Administrator to manage full-cycle payroll and benefits administration across multiple provinces. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently navigate complex payroll scenarios, has a strong foundation in payroll principles and thrives in a fast-paced environment.<br><br><strong>Your success will be defined by your ability to: </strong><br /><ul><li>Ensure timely and accurate weekly payroll processing for up to 500 employees including hourly and salaried staff across Canada</li><li>Maintain and update employee records related to compensation, benefits, and time tracking</li><li>Manage payroll-related financial transactions, including journal entries, statutory remittances, benefit deductions, and regulatory filings, while maintaining compliance with applicable provincial and federal legislation</li><li>Coordinate onboarding documentation and system setup to ensure a smooth and compliant onboarding experience</li><li>Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits with professionalism, clarity and excellent customer service</li><li>Assist with month-end duties as assigned, including reconciling payroll reports and other essential documentation</li></ul><strong>Your strengths include: </strong><br /><ul><li>5+ years of experience in payroll and benefits administration</li><li>Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation or in progress is preferred, but not required</li><li>Proficiency in Excel and payroll software (e.g. Ceridian Dayforce, ADP, Payworks)</li><li>Strong understanding of employment legislation and payroll compliance requirements</li><li>Proven ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team</li></ul> If you are interested in this role and meet the above criteria, please click the "<strong>Apply</strong>" button to send your resume directly to <strong>Vicky Vu.</strong><br><br><strong>Recruitment Partners Inc</strong>. is an Alberta-based, Alberta-focused recruitment firm.
