Our client, a major plastics processor, is seeking a handyman. This position is available as soon as possible on a part-time basis (three days a week).
This is a great opportunity for a diversified job with a high degree of autonomy. This job has two components, that of warehouse manager and ‘handyman’ on the owner’s premises.
You will be supervised by the owner and the operations manager to help you with your tasks.
‘Handyman’:
– Carry out repairs and various tasks around the office
– Take care of outside maintenance
– Make deliveries and run errands using a vehicle (sometimes equipped with a flatbed trailer);
– Respect priorities.
Warehouse helper (as required):
– Warehouse doors must be opened in the morning, closed and locked in the evening.
– When you arrive in winter, you must put salt/sand all over the entrance and on the front and back steps of the office.
– In the morning, check that the courtyard and storage areas are clean
– Waste and recycling bins must be collected and taken out on Friday evening
– Perform various warehouse tasks as required.
The ability to work harmoniously as part of a team is essential!
