Packer

Adecco is hiring for some a temporary, full-time Packer job opening in Mississauga, ON. In this role you will be responsible for packing production orders after the items have been checked for quality control. This position will require standing and repetitive functions; agronomical set up is provided. Please note this is initially for 2 weeks with potential to extend or request back.

• Pay rate: $17.42/hour
• Location: Mississauga, ON (Dundas Street East and 403) – free parking
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 6am – 2:15pm (present but additional shifts to come up at anytime in case you are flexible or looking for other shifts)
• Job type: Temporary | Full-time

Packer Responsibilities:

• Packing of production orders within a production line; this the final stage
• Folding the items in a neat, orderly fashion to ensure the product is not bent or compromised
• Preparing orders for shipment
• Follow all safety procedures and practices
• Other tasks assigned by the lead/supervisor

Packer Qualifications:

• Previous packing experience is a strong asset although not required
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and move with ease, and lift up to 25lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well independently but also as a key team member
• Be passionate about cleanliness, health and safety; approved safety boots required
• Strong work ethic to be on time for shift changes and reliable overall
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
